  1. well;;;

    1) find a combination lock now, and learn how to use it, so you wont have to struggle on the first day of school.

    2) Make friends in every class, if you dont already have a friend in a class, make one fast...it makes it much easier when you have partners.

    3) Be really good to all the teachers when you first meet them...the first impression counts...a LOT!

    4) BE YOURSELF!!! so many people think they need to change everything about them just because they are in middle school...dont change a thing about yourself, just be who youve always been, that way you can really find friends who you have things in common with.

    5) dont focus on being popular...its nice if you are, but its not as fun as everyone thinks it is. (trust me, i used to be in the "popular" crowd, but when the crowd split, i went to the less "popular" crowd, and we have WWWAAAAYYY more fun than they do.

    6) dont phsyc yourself out...it will be a big change, but if you go into it calm, cool, and collected...you will do FINE!!

Good luck, i know it can be scary, but you'll get through the first few weeks, then you will get used to it. JUST REMEBER TO BE YOURSELF!!!

  2. Unfortunately people change. It's a very sad thing but be prepared for a possible change in friends!

Good luck, it's not that horrible.

  3. One thing, you often get introuble if you preset the combo on your locker. So when you shut your locker to go to another class, turn in the first two numbers. then when you go back to your locker. you only hve to turn the dial to the last number! ;D

    Creative. I know right? haha

  4. stand up for yourself and it will be fine

  5. in middle school, people start cussing and "going out' (but that doesn't mean you have to) just saying. also, people form their groups of friends and you'll get more homework. other than that, it's not that bad. you'll be totally fineee

  6. I agree with the first person who posted! Your friend now most likely will not end p being your friends.  Try to stay ahead of everyone and be a leader rather than a follower.  Don't fall into peer pressure.  You will regret it.

  7. The first poster is right.  I drifted off from my elementary friends in middle school.

For me, 6th grade was the most difficult year of middle school.  6th grades do have a better chance of being bullied.  If you stick around with people, you have a less likley chance of being so.

If you have a locker, try to keep it neat, always have supplies, keep your folders and binders neat, do ALL of your homework to get a decent grade.

Also, if you're afraid of getting lost, don't be.  You'll learn your schedual and where everything is in a few days.  But if you do get lost, only ask a teacher for directions.  Older kids might tell you to go the wrong way and make you get serisoly lost.

You do get more work in middle school.  You'll most likley get the most in math.  I've gotten math homework everyday from 6th-8th grade.

Make friends with a lot of people in your classes.  It's not too hard to!

6th grade will fly right by.  Middle school flew by for me! Good luck!

  8. well im in middle school (6 grade) so i would say get 2 skool a little bit early on the first day (2 get your classes if you dont already know), dress good ,of course, but dont over do it, ask friends where they're going 2 middle skool and if they are going 2 the same one go 2 skool together or arange 2 meet some where (just so you know some one)

  9. You will meet new people. Your old friends will probably grow distant to you. And you will have more homework than before.

Middle school is a breeze. But it's preparing you for high school, so don't blow it off!

  10. Be prepared you are going to have a lot more homework and less free time to spend with your friends.  If you just do your schoolwork and get your homework in on time and don't cause any trouble you will do just fine.
