Going to music camp tomorrow and need tips on how to make friends!

ahh, this is the first summer camp im going to and im usually a very shy person =/

i won't know anyone there, and everyone there will probably all know each other because most of them have been going there for 3-4 years together. any advice on how to make friends fast? i hate the feeling of just roaming around awkwardly because i have no friends :(

i just finished my cultural arts camp today and started off knowing no one.  by today we were all one big happy family begging each other not to leave! you will most definitely find someone with something in common with you. plus you are all passionate about a similar art and will find yourself with people who will make amazing friends that will last you a lifetime! =]

Oh don't you worry girl! I am sure there are several people thinking that exact same thing, right now!  

But first of all, a good way to start is to find people who play your same instrument, etc...  and start talking to them.  People like nothing more than talking about themselves.  Ask them music questions, how long they have been playing??, etc.  

Good Luck! You are going to have so much fun, and it will only take a little time to meet people and make great friends!
