I'm taking my two nieces (14 & 15) so no drinking. Then can I buy food like in others people tailgate party or everyone brings their own stuff?

  1. For games in August always bring water, and soda for the kiddoes. As far as food, finger snacks are always a hit. Wouldnt hurt to stop and get some tacos or a bucket of chicken, or some subs or the best is always pizza to go, find a cici's or little ceasars and get 3-4 to-go pizzas for $20.00

Make sure you have tunes to jam out to keep it kid friendly, set a fun atmosphere, with teams flags or decorations. Make friends with the folks around you, bring a ball to toss around. Always make sure you clean up your mess when your done, its the results of fans leaving mass garbage behind (liquor bottles, ashes, grills, broken tailgate furniture) that the nfl is cracking down and regulating fans tailgates.

  2. Beer (for yourself).  Small hibachi style BBQ.  Brats.  Have fun.

  3. Depends on the town... I know here in Philly people usually don't mind sharing, as long as you're kind and generous with conversation and wearing green and white, of course.

If you plan on tailgating, it might help to bring a bunch of hot dogs, meet some people with a grill and enjoy the pre-game before you have to pay a boatload of cash for the same stuff inside.  But like I said, it really depends on what stadium, and the fans you're around.

Look for a younger crowd or a crowd with kids.  That way your nieces will have someone to interact with and the environment should generally be safer without excessive drinking and foul language, etc.

Remember: not all fans are the same, even though they may root for the same team.

  4. I would go to your local grocery store deli and buy a bunch of stuff like chips, soda, salads, kids like hot dogs and sandwiches that way you don't have to cook.  I would bring some non-caffienated soda because those young girls are going to be hiper enough.

  5. If alcohol is out of the question, then bring soda. Also, chips, pretzels, potato salad, macaroni salad. Basically, bring the side dishes so that those that cook don't have to prepare those things. Also, paper plates, cups, napkins, silverware, etc. all come in handy and are also often times overlooked.

  6. chips and salsa works for me ,when I don't have to cook at tailgate, but also try to bring a box of fried chicken. And don't forget to bring a 12 pack of soda in a well iced ice chest. Just have fun, and try not to overdue.

  7. BRATS all tha way!!!

  8. Usually people bring their own stuff, ask your neices what they like, pick up some chicken or bring sandwiches and chairs.  Just watching people in the lot is awesome.  You all should enjoy just walking around, so if your not cooking bring a ball and play catch or frisbee.

I generally just bring some beer and make friends and mooch.

  9. Johnsonville Brats and Pepsi
