Going to see a urologist tomorrow, what should i say?

Hi guys!

For the longest time, I've been desiring circumcision, and now, I finally built up the courage to ask my parents. I have tight f******n, which is one of the reasons I want to get this done. There are a few other small reasons, but its mostly because being uncircumcised makes me depressed, miserable, and I feel different from others. It's a nightmare for me, and although I know that its like, 50/50 now, it doesn't make a difference, I want to get this done, and thats final.

I've thought it through and read up on it as much as I possible can

That aside, I'm kind of nervous for tomorrow, as I will be seeing a urologist.My parents say they aren't too fond of this idea, but if its what I want, then I can get it done.

What kind of things will the doctor ask me, or what kind of things should I tell him? What will he examine, p***s-wise?

Thanks a lot!

  1. I thought you had "built up the courage to ask your parents" a few weeks ago...

    I sense a troll.

  2. What you can do to put your parents at ease, and what you can tell the doctor, is that you want to do this for hygienic reasons. Being circumcised means that you don't have to worry about developing problems such as phimosis and smegma (infection underneath the f******n). The urologist will check the  health of the shaft and glans of the p***s by squeezing them downward, looking for any discharge or painful reactions as he or she does so. The doctor will most likely also feel the testicles for any signs of swelling or lumps or tears, and will do the "turn and cough" test which examines for inguinal hernias.

  3. When the doctor comes in, say, "Ehhh, what's up doc?"

  4. I went to one when i was oyunger and he asks you to take your pants off and then he touches oyu and c**p its awkward and uncomfortable!

  5. go in and say here's a bunch of money, ruin my sexual pleasure in a way I can nver have beck over a minor problem that could be fixed non surgically

    If you do go through with it make sure to discuss what you want remove and what you don't, how much inner f******n do you want to leave, the frenulum, do you want it loose or tight, you could have just enough removed to eliminate the tightness

    I had a technically perfect circumcision medically, it's taking a long time to get the scarred skin to fold right

    I wish my parents hadn't, when I found out about it I read everything I could, I know tons of information about and have read both pro and anti circumcision websites, I really wanted to believe it was good, but the truth just isn't there, you see and hear all these claims but if you ask for the actual study nobody has them or they are so old and used invalid techniques and would not even be considered for publishing, I wanted to believe it was good but if you look at both sides, circumcising without an immediate medical need makes no sense at all. I later did f******n restoration restoring what was left (they do leave some f******n) but it's not all restorable, but what I was able to get back was great. but this came at a price, I can no longer see circumcision as cosmetic or as if it does not really matter, things that I thought were normal I only realized were problems after I restored and no longer had them, sexual enjoyment is way up. I can't imagine how much better the real thing is.

    people have said in relation to sexual pleasure

    intact=10

    cut=3

    restored=7

    and from my experience I agree with the cut/restored numbers

  6. Hi again.  I would hold out a bit longer.  Once it is done, there is no going back.  And remember I told you how important the f******n was:

    Have you tried not masturbating?  I seriously think that that is what is wrong - you have damaged the blood vessels.

  7. Congratulations on your decision and I hope you will shortly be joining the circumcised community. As others have said I'd stress your desire for hygiene and make the point that despite regular cleansing there is always an unpleasant odour after a few hours. It may well be the case too that the f******n feels tight when you have an erection and that it tears frequently

  8. Usually, your first visit w/Urologist will be a consultation only.  He will ask you what the problem is & what you want or need done.  He will examine you & explain what he can do for you & schedule an appointment for the procedure - which is usually done in his office & not in a hospital setting.

    I had the procedure done less than 4 weeks ago.  From the time I walked into Dr's office until I walked out took 45 minutes.  Used local anesthetic.  No pain.  Very little discomfort, which was handled w/an occasional Ibuprofen tablet.  Dr. will give you a prescription for an antibiotic to keep infection down.  Wear loose clothing to keep from irritating sensitive area.  To make it heal the fastest, try pulling the skin as far back as comfortably possible to let air get to it.  Air heals it faster than anything.  Dr. will want to see you again in 7 or 8 days to make sure healing is progressing satisfactorily.  For the first two weeks, I used baby wipes to keep area clean.  If you get it wet in the shower, it will cause the stitches to come out too soon.  Stitches are usually self dissolving.  Limit sports activity for a few weeks & sexual activity for at least 6 weeks.  Mine is completely healed - just a tiny bit sensitive yet.  If I'd known it was this easy & simple, I would have had it done years ago & not put myself thru such misery and anxiety.  Good Luck.  You'll be fine.

  9. If you feel depressed because you believe you're different from other people, getting a circumcision will not make you feel any better.  You really should contact a therapist to talk about your feelings before you start mutilating yourself.  Check out this list of famous intact men: http://circumstitions.com/Famous-map.htm...

    Also, please do some research on the functions of the f******n.  It's there for a reason.  Check this out: http://www.cirp.org/pages/parents/lostli...

  10. it is what you should be asking him, not the other way around.  What method will he use etc.  here are the top two circumcisers in the USA

    their websites are full of useful information.

    Modern day adult circumcision should be done using the freehand(sleeve resection method). dissolvable sutures and local anesthetic.

  11. I understand that you're nervous, but men do it as adults all the time.  Of course he will examine your p***s... the whole thing!

  12. Nothing to be concerned about. The doctor does this all day, every day. Let the doctor take the lead here. The doctor will likely say, "What can we do for you today?" or "What is the reason you wanted to see me?" You simply state, "I want to talk with you about me having a circumcision". The doctor will take it from there. Likely ask you other medical questions to make sure you have overall good health.
