  1. If chinese is suitable as the previous answerer says, there is a good chinese buffet restaurant in Skeggie.  If you stand on the road that's the sea front road with your back to the sea, head along that road to the right almost to the very end and it's in the last 3 or 4 shops there before you would have to turn left away from the sea turning inland (obviously!!).  There is a car park down that end near the chinese too.

There is a restaurant right by the clock tower (going the other way along the sea front) that does salads and steaks as well as the ubiquitous fish and chips but mainly it's typical seaside fare I'm afraid.

  2. Skegness has limited culinary potential. However there's loads of chippies and bars with food. No surprises, nothing 'exotic'. I searched for a long time for Skeggie's Chinese outlets last summer. There's not a lot of wheatflour in Chinese cooking........ The only Chinese takeaway is on the road towards Gibraltar Point.

  3. The best restaurant in skeg-vegas (as it is affectionally know by us locals) is either the Mariner which is by the clock tower on the seafront, or there is a little italian, of which the name escapes me, that is close to a large pub called the ship, which is on Roman Bank, the main road from Skeg to Ingoldmells. It is lovely! Not sure if either cater for coeliacs, but I am sure you could tell from the menu.

Other than that, I am afrain Chip-pan Alley is all skeg has to offer!!

  4. Yes anywhere 50 miles south of Skegness.
