  1. Flying all the way to Italy from the US and spending all your time in Capri seems completely ridiculous to me. Yes, Capri is a beautiful LITTLE Island, but to miss Rome, Florence etc. boggles my mind. Italy is about History, Art, Architecture, Sightseeing.  Capri can be visited on a day trip -- and is it full of super rich people.

If you just want a relaxing vacation on the beach there are much cheaper alternatives.

    But to each his own.

PS There is really no BEACH on Capri it's quite rocky with big cliffs on the sea.

  2. You can see Capri in less than three days. It isn't very big. No beaches, lots of views. Spend at least two days in Rome and two days in Florence.

  3. nothing is too long to stay in capry. there's not much to see, but it's the island of the "Dolce Vita" (like Rome) and you can go to the sea, or shopping in the streets. it's a very beautiful place and people would pay millions to stay more time there. if you can, why not staying more?

  4. Capri is a great place to visit, but seven days seems a bit long unless you're just coming to sit and relax and enjoy the views. Two or three days in Capri is fine - it's not that big. Then if you move on to Sorrento, you have better access to get to Pompeii and explore the rest of the Amalfi coast for a few days.
