  1. Learn the course like the back of your hand. Remember every bunker, and the distance to carry everything. Also be positive, all the time. There is no one a golfer hates more than a depressed dickk. Good luck man, and learn the game

  2. There are many jobs and skills required on a golf course or at a country club. If we do not know what you will be doing there is no sense  advising you what to do. If you are on the course always watch out for players who are behind you. Your golf superintendent  will no doubt tell you what he expects.

  3. Be pleasant and helpful but don't give advice. Let everyone know that you are there to learn. Carry a little pocket notebook and write stuff down. Practice learning peoples names and remembering them. Everyone is "sir" and "maam." Be humble but not shy. Good luck, any job where you are helping people have fun can be great!

  4. I work at a very high rated golf course. I is in fact one of the oldest in the country. Anyway... I is very important that you greet everyone with a smile and help them as much as possible. Get to know the course.. ALL OF IT!!! It is probably going to be fine. I'm sure other employees will help you too!

    Good Luck!

  5. I worked as a bag boy at my local golf course.  I got pretty good tips about $30-50 a shift.  You will probably get the suckiest jobs though first like changing the trash, washing carts, and bullsh** jobs like that.  But you will work your way up.  Once you get there, try to be nice to all of the customers and they will usually reward you will a few dollars in tip money.
