  1. Well there is no problem of importing canned food for person use to Switzerland but if you are flying on a UK based airline or flight via the UK then you have have to forget it as no liquid allowed.....

  2. we have food in switzerland too...

and as an Alien, u are authorized to eat!!!;)

  3. I don't know.  I've gone to Germany with cigarettes and some of my friends have come here with chocolates and beer.  You'd be best off to write or call the Swiss consulate and just ask.

  4. In general, a *visitor* can take these things through customs. (However, if there are resrtrictions on airlines, you need to check what you can take as luggage).

Canned food is fine. However, Swiss people who live close to the border with Germany or France are limited to the amount of meat and dairy product they are allowed to import (because it's a lot cheaper outside Switzerland, the customs limit what Swiss people can buy abroad). And that includes cat/dog food.

You'll be fine though. Alcohol is limited as per normal.

  5. yes... u rite,,, this is our singaporean styl....

  6. I don't think you can, with the new security measures.  If you have to take food, make it dry stuff like rice and dried vegetables, dried tofu, that sort of thing.

  7. Very, very high cost of living. Pay about S$18 for a bottle of mineral water, food also expensive, only wine is cheap. Bring more "Maggie" instant mees. At this time, please confirm with embassy or airline for what type of food can bring there. For your info.
