but wont be that deep into the jungle, besides malaria pills, what other medical stuff would I need?

First of all, you should have lightweight, quick-drying long-sleeved shirts and long pants. You need to bring medicine for diarrhea, a broad-spectrum antibiotic both in pill and ointment form, some Tylenol (or similar med), and some band-aids. Insect repellent is a must. These are the basics for a short-term stay. Have a wonderful time, it's incredibly beautiful!

Get a yellow fever shot. Take an aspirin to keep fever and pain down.
