Question:

Going to the Grand Cayman Islands..........?

My sis and I are planning a trip to the cayman islands. We are not sure if an entry visa is required. We came across an email address when booking the reservations and send them an inquiry about the visa issue but so far no reply. Then we thought may be sending this inquiry to a british embassy might work but they were not very helpful either.

So what do we do, how do we find out if we require a visa to go to the grand cayman? We are not american citizens, only green card holders.

Thank you.

  1. We went to the Cayman Islands on a cruise, and no entry visa was required.  My mom is a resident alien (not a US citizen), and she didn't have any trouble.  I think it all depends on what nationality you are.  If you're a British subject (Canadian, for instance), you won't have any trouble.  Americans don't need one either, but you might want to check around.  The link below gives some more info, its from the State department.

  2. United States legal residents (Green Card holders) need their original Green Card and a passport from their country of origin.

Maximum stay in Cayman Islands: 90 days

Visa is not required for stay up to 90 days.

    Cayman Islands Visa Requirements: 1-800-345-6541

No Visa needed. Have a great vacation with your sister)
