Going to the beach with my class (class reunion)?

Question

I'm going to the beach with all my friends and former classmates, its been a year since i been in high school and now we're planning to have a class reunion. My question is that I want to maybe date someone in my class but not sure how to impress them? and also to impress my other classmates?

I just bought a new car so that i can use too...

Start doing crunches would be my suggestion. Most of your classmates are going to be impressed by shallow things. It comes with the territory when you are 19. Also, you haven't had time to devote your life to a cause or write a novel. So, a tight stomach and a new car ought to be just about right.

Don't brag, though; pull up in the new wheels and act normal. Don't honk twice, hop out and tell the world how much you paid for it. Wear a shirt long enough to cover your abs; let your classmates see them when you decide to swim.

If the person you want to impress is most impressed by things like new cars, it's not surprising that you have gotten so few responses. I know I wouldn't have the least idea how to impress someone who thinks that a car represents the person driving it.

Try treating people with respect and not talking about yourself and all your good qualities and all your danged gear all night. That might make a good impression. And I'm only being a little sarcastic. After years (in my teens) of trying to get people to look at me and see how "great" I was, I finally figured things out. Would you really suddenly think someone was a better person if you found out they just bought a car? It means nothing.
