Going to the caribbean in 2010 anyone know on a site that i can book soon as i need to save?

i want to go on a family holiday to the caribbean not sure where to yet, either domican republic or mexico. i would like to do it for my sons 21st birthday in auguest 2010 was wondering did anyone know of a site that i can book now? also any suggestions on where to go would be great either domican republic or mexico, want a good family all inclusive hotel the age range is 45,42,121,19,17,and 4 thanks so much for any help..im in the uk.

It's to early to book a flight and resort 2 years ahead of time. Pricing for 2010 isn't even set yet.

I would start checking resort packages about 6 to 9 months out from departure date. A good place to start is with a good travel agency. You have 6 people to worry about and any good agency should be happy to help you. They have the contacts that you need.

With a travel agency they will require a deposit only and than 60 days out the balance. If you book on line you will have to pay everything up front. You will be traveling during hurricane season (June 1 to Nov 30th), best to have a professional (travel agent) to back you up if you have any issues.

The best way to save on all-inclusive vacations in the caribbean is to wait until about 2-3 weeks before departure. There is always a lot of "last minutes deals". You could save about 30%-40%.

Would you not prefer a 2-week cruise and therefore you can take in more than one island.  You can also book for this now. Check out this website below or you can try others.

It's too soon to book. You won't be able to until next year. I went to the Dominican this Summer for our honeymoon and we were disappointed. We stayed at the Dreams resort so maybe that's why. Previously we had went to Puerto Vallarta Mexico and Mexico is more friendlier and more to do there. I think Cancun would be a nice option to go to and visit with family. The moon palace resort in cancun is supposed to be more then awesome!

If your family is perfectly fine with being stuck at a resort then DR is the place to go. If your family wants to venture out, shop, eat at restaurants outside of the resort i would go to cancun.

Go to tripadvsior. com and log in areas you are interested in and read reviews.

Have you considered Aruba, Jamaica or Barbados?
