  1. I can understand why this is embarrassing for you.  Any medical issues unfortunately need to be made with an adult.  It does not mean that your mom or dad have to come in to the room and observe.  Something like that had happen to me when I was little and my mom waited outside.  just tell which ever parent you trust more, and ask him/her if they could come with you to the doctor so that they can look at something in your genital area.  You might want to tell them the truth, If you need to be circumcised they would have to authorize the procedure anyway.  Also, If you can take warm baths or m********e and try to pull it back slowly.

  2. Yes for most guys talking to parents about this sort of subject can be embarrassing . It is a shame that more parents do not try and have the sort of relationship with their children that would enable open discussion of such matters

Many guys have this issue as early teens and sometimes with time the issue will get easier

However at 14 you do need an adult present when you visit the doctor so you should have a quiet word with your father and say that you are having a bit of an issue with your f******n and you would like to ask for doctors advice

Your only other option is to wait till you are 16 and go on your own , but I think you will be surprised of how supportive your dad will be if you approach him about this

  3. Hospital!

Well you can just tell your parents that you feel sick or you have had a pain down there for about a week.  They will take you.  But they don't have to come in with you.  And then you can tell the doctor the real reason.

  4. You can go to the doctor with an adult, but the adult does not have to be present when you discuss your problem. Ask the receptionist or the nurse who calls you in if you can talk to the doctor alone. You should be able to.

Unfortunately, you are assuming the doctor will be able to help you. My guess is that he will be more embarassed than you and will have no clue other than circumcision as to what to do.

Check out some of these sites. Ignore the ones that want to sell you a product; they are scams.

  5. You could go with a responsible adult but ask them not to come in with you. If you have somebody to confide in then do so..However depending on what the doctor says you may then have to tell your parents.Ring childline and see what advice they would give you or talk to a school nurse when you return..you would not have to tell theem the exact nature of why you need to see a doctor just explain its personal..you could also try phonong the surgery  and ask what advice they would give. about not wanting your parents there..you do not have to say what the problem is
