Going to the doctor to get an iud?

my appt. is today. can they still give iuds to people who haven't had any kids? if u have had it did u like it and were they any side affects.

  1. They do not normally like to insert an IUD if you have not had any children but depending on the circumstances it is possible. There shouldn't be any side effects it can be uncomfortable having it put in and you may experience a bit of bleeding and possibly some stomach cramps but taking an anti inflammatory tablet should help.


  2. they usually dont give them to people who havnt but i suppose its your choice.

    i recommend implanon personally rather than the IUD.

    its great!
