3 rounds of clomid, nothing happen. Never did ovulate and I was charting. I was spotting dark brown spots w/brown discharge, since the middle of July. Now I'm bleeding heavy w/lots of red discharge. Anyways, whats the next fertility step??? What should I expected?? I know they are going to want to check both me and my husband out(but I know it's me). I'm 31 and I have never been pregnant, but my husband has a son. Thanks

  1. It seems like we are in the same boat.... I'm 30 years old, never pregnant and have been ttc for over 2 years.

I am on my first round on Clomid 50mg, up to now no sign of ovulation.

I am with a specialist, who actually does not like the idea of clomid too much (that was actually my choice - as for the financial aspect... I at least wanted to try...) The first time you go with the specialist they will send you to do a lot of tests: all kind of blood tests, taken at the 21st day of your cycle. Also an ultrasound on the 2nd day of your cycle. Then a histerosalpingogram ( radiology to see that your fallopian tubes are open and not clogged) on the 8th day of your cycle. Your husband will have to do blood tests and a sperm sample (although he has a son he will have to do this - things can change)

I have my next appointment is on the 2nd Sep. As I mentioned, my Dr. told me that she would rather go for invitro instead of trying clomid too long- let's see what the next step will be.

    Good luck to you!
