Going to turkey, kalkan or dalyan?

stayed and worked in kas years ago and loved it.going back to turkey in september maybe dalyan or kalkan . I will be visiting kas ,wich is the nearest to kas ? also anybody got any thoughts of wich is the best place dalyan or kalkan your thoughts will be most appreciated thankyou jez

Go for Dalyan, its a little further from Kas, but it will be worth your time...Don`t remember where I stayed, but I still remember the beach;and it has been more than 10 years! Go figure...

Kalkan is closer to Kas than Dalyan.

How many years ago were you in Kas? You may find it has changed beyond recognition.

I always find Kalkan somewhat claustrophobic as it is clinging to a steep hillside with very little space between the heights and the shoreline. Dalyan has a lot going for it as it offers a variety of activities - bars, restaurants etc, interesting ancient sites, river, sea, fantastic beach, a lake, mud baths and so on.

If you have time, why not spend some time in Dalyan and stop off at Kalkan on your way to Kas? It makes sense, particularly if you fly in to Dalaman.

there are many hotels from Antalya, Dalyan, Kalkan or Bodrum, Kemer, Marmaris, Ä°zmir,side, alanya etc. this site in Turkish but usage is so  easy. on the left site there is "Detayli Arama" You can select city from "Sehir" Hotel Type from "Otel Tipi" hotal category  from kategori. i've never been both of them, but people give advices about dalyan. but kalkan is the neighbor of kaş, so you'll decide it.

Kalkan is definitely closer, but I prefer Dalyan.  My whole family loves Dalyan.  There's so many things to do there and it's just a nice place to relax.
