After my btec national diploma would it be good to retake some gcse's, like a one year intensive course. I also have dyslexia which makes it more difficult, could i be given extra support. I want to study sport science.

  1. Most degree courses need the equivalent of three GCSE's and a level three qualification, such as a BTEC.  In addition, I would expect that you would need GCSE mathematics or the equivalent for a Sports Science degree.

There are many universities that offer extra support for dyslexic students.  You may also want to consider embarking on an intensive course to help alleviate your Dyslexia before starting your degree.

For more information look at individual universities' websites.

    Good luck!
