  1. Ask the kids what they want to do. and if its not something they sould not be doing than do it.

  2. I am a nanny myself, and in my personal opinion, I don't think you need to be doing something with them ALL THE TIME. It is just exhausting and at that age kids can do things by themselves. I would set up some paints outside with paper and let them go crazy for awhile. When they get bored with that set them up with something else. Of course you can interact with them, but they have each other and know how to entertain themselves. Just give them something to do and you'll be fine. Try playing a board game with them or just swimming. Just hang out and have fun, don't try to go all crazy planning stuff because they won't really understand your hard work.

  3. You could always have them put on a play, make sock puppet and then put on a puppet show.  To make sock puppets all you would need is some felt for the eyes and mouth and old socks.  Sponge shape painting with washable paints and construction paper.  I would try to steer away from the pool unless you know First Aid and have a First Aid certificate.  Even under well suppervised play in a pool harm can come to a child.

  4. -you guys can have washable paint and make something for their parents.

-play marco polo in the pool

-play hide in seek but sometimes thats not good depends on the kids.

-play some board games that they know how to play like connect 4

-play a little bit of video games but not too much

-bake something together like a cake or cupcakes

    -read books

    -tell them stories

    -do coloring books with them

-play soccer or some sport with a ball

-just make stuff that you will enjoy too so like i said before paint or color and make something for the mom

-and for the slow one just take it easy with her/him

so i hope some of these things will be helpful cause i have three little sisters and all of this stuff works with them so i hope i helped!!!!
