  1. Sure, going vegetarian is an excellent way to protect your health, reduce animal suffering, and help preserve the environment.

    Pros:

-Vegetarians live, on average, six to 10 years longer than meat-eaters.

-Vegetarians (as a group) have lower blood cholesterol levels; lower blood pressure; and lower rates of hypertension, type 2 diabetes, and prostate and colon cancer.

-Vegetarians are less likely to be overweight or die from heart disease.

-Each vegetarian prevents the suffering and deaths of about 100 animals EVERY year!

-A vegetarian saves 1 acre of trees every year. Raising animals for food is very inefficient and wastes a lot of natural resources.

    Cons:

-Some people will give you a hard time and try to argue with you about vegetarianism.

-It's not as convenient. (There aren't vegetarian fast food chains... but you can find veg options at many restaurants.)

    I hope this helps!

  2. yes, I think you should but I have been veggie for eleven years. Go to peta.com and learn about meat. There are alot of resources out there! Good luck and be happy about saving lives!

  3. going vegeterian is not good for your health, because you don't get any protien. so plaese don't,for your sake

  4. think about are you doing it for healt reasons or animal rights reasons.................your personal views chould reflect your decision..........you could gradually bring more vegetarian style meals into your diet and try cutting out meat slowly then you will see if you perfer life without meat

  5. its sometimes hard to have everyone around you eat meat while you can't

it ur hearts not in it... don't...

  6. Pros:

-easier to keep off weight and especially fat

-greatly reduces chance of cancer and other diseases

    -very healthy lifestyle

-average vegetarian lifespan is at least 5 years longer

    -ethical

    Cons:

-have to watch your B12 levels and usually have to take B12 supplements

-to a lesser extent have to watch your iron levels and also your protein if you want to build or retain bigger muscles

-harder to shop for food and go out to eat

-have to explain yourself to people and go through the whole, "Yes I'm a vegetarian, these are the reasons..."

    Good luck.
