Goinglite Folley to be dominant in the Stadium Bookmakers Maiden Sprint Trophy at Nottingham
Nottingham will become home for the Stadium Bookmakers Maiden Sprint Trophy over 305 metres flat on Monday, 7th May. Contesting in the race are Goinglite Folley, Goa Storm, Clomantagh Rock, Erics Lass, Mt Leinster Hill and Blackstone Buzz.
The most promising entry for the race is Goinglite Folley, Foleys Folley’s two-year-old black and white son out of b***h, Ethans Solo. He is very lightly raced and slipped into the debut season on 10th April by getting drilled over 264 metres at Monmore. He was through the distance in 15.90 seconds.
The two-year-old is unbeaten in the two brand new starts of his career. His seasonal debut was in a 264 metres race at Monmore on 17th April. Goinglite Folley led the runner up, Look Ahead, by 5 ¼ lengths and clocked the track distance in 15.73 seconds.
His second and till yet the last career attempt was on 1st May in a 264 metres race at Monmore. Goinglite Folley reached the other end of the wire in 15.98 seconds and took charge of the final three lengths.
Ardcroney Olivia settled as the runner up of the race. Goinglite Folley will race through the third start of the debut season and has the highest chances to strike a hat trick from the very first three starts of the season.
Another note worthy entry for the race is Goa Storm, Express Ego’s three-year-old black and white son out of b***h, Murlens Madrid. He has raced five times during the season and has won only recently that too through the very last race.
He won the Price Forbes Classic at Hove over 285 metres on 3rd May. Goa Storm timed the track distance in 16.46 seconds and led the runner up, Millwards Dan, by 1 ¼ lengths. He joined the winner on the other end of the wire in 16.56 seconds.
Settling third behind the winner was the 7/4 favourite of the race, Ardbeg Chris.
Today he is in for the sixth career race and does have the aptitude for leaving an impact after all he remained winless for four races in a row.
