The Swiss International is delighted with Napoli’s return to form after a string of poor results of late.
After struggling to get wins under their belts since the turn of year, the Partenopei side have gone onto win their last three consecutive matches. The Azzurri beat Chelsea 3-1 in the first-leg of the last
16 round of UEFA Champions League recently.
Inler has praised strike duo of Ezequiel Lavezzi and Edinson Cavani for creating havoc in the Blues defence, and playing a major role in Napoli’s recent triumphs.
In an interview with Radio Marte, the former Zurich midfielder praised the performances of the attackers of the clubs; he was quoted to have said:
“Cavani and Lavezzi are two madmen, which I mean in a good way. Both are very strong - they are attackers that can change the game at any moment.”
Inler insists that he plays every match with full concentration and give his 100 percent in all matches regardless of the opposition. The Swiss international joined the Naples outfit from Udinese in the summer,
but did not have the best of starts to his Partenopei career.
The midfielder lost his place in the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Napoli-c40003 starting line-up due to his unimpressive performances recently, but the Swiss has made his way back into the team with a string of inspiring displays of late.
The 27-year-old remarked on his form by commenting:
“I always give my best for the good of the team and in the last three games I have played from the start we have won - against Chievo, Fiorentina and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786.”
Inler mentioned the reason for being dropped from the squad by stating:
“I was just a little tired from the many games played. I have now returned, thanks to the faith of [Walter] Mazzarri.”
Walter Mazzarri will be hoping that the midfielder continues playing in the same fashion for the foreseeable future given Napoli’s schedule of matches this season.
