Gold Edition determined to break maiden at Redcar

Over the good to firm surface of 6 furlongs, Gold Edition will have to run alongside a dozen of competitors. On winning the class 5 contest, he will bring home £2,264.
In his 4-race career, the brilliant colt has demonstrated two decent runs so far. On July 18, he fought confidently and finished as the runner-up in the Lingfield Park Ladies Evening 21st July Maiden Stakes (Div I) that went down at Lingfield.
In his last start on August 30, the son of Mr Greeley out of Triple Edition competed well again and stood third against seven strong rivals. That was the Ladbrokes Game On! Maiden Stakes.
It seems that the time has come for the young colt to bag his first success. Today’s race is going to be ideal for this purpose. The new jockey, Graham Lee, will have to play a key part in boosting up the rookie runner’s morale.

on August 21.
The daughter of Firebreak out of Signs And Wonders stood second in her last outing named as Prestige Scotland Maiden Stakes. That race went down at Hamilton on August 30.
