Just wondering who are some gold glove winners who have had low fielding percentages in the gold glove year? (basically whos spectacular plays/range/arm made up for their sometimes lackluster errors?)

  1. david wright last season. The only reason he even won it is because he's a media darling in new york. His fielding percentage was 5th lowest among NL third baseman last year among those who qualified (.954). Plus i think the voters felt sorry for him since the mets choked away that big f****s lead they had.

  2. Agreed, gold gloves always go to names first over sometimes more deserving players. (see Coco Crisp).
