Gold Ingot holding highest starting price for Flat Season Is Next Standard Open National Hunt Flat Race at Warwick
Ten novices are all set to make an impact in the Flat Season Is Next Standard Open National Hunt Flat Race, to be held at Warwick on Wednesday, March 21, 2012.
The participants’ names are: Gold Ingot, Call Me April, Kaysersberg, Billesley Road, Aneyeforaseller, Mystifiable, Cleeve Cloud, Royal City, Jog On Kitty and Shadesofnavy.
Gold Ingot deserves respect following a decent effort on his debut last month. The five-year-old stepped on the track on February 18, making a fine impression by securing fourth slot.
In the Atlantic Enterprises Standard Open National Hunt Flat Race at Ascot, the youngster remained slightly unlucky, as he missed third position by a head distance. After a reasonable performance last time out, Alan King’s trainee looks determined to spark
today.
However, he will have to make an all out effort to taste success. Call Me April is another powerful runner, who is likely to attract a lot of punters.
The four-year-old was impressive on her debut, as she finished second in the DBS/EBF Mares' Standard Open National Hunt Flat Race (Qualifier) at Warwick.
Under Hadden Frost, the Karen George-trained displayed a fine show. However, the filly could not deliver what was required to notch up victory. As a result, she finished second by one and a quarter lengths.
Kaysersberg is also h**l-bent to fancy his chances. Although his debut was not impressive last year, the five-year-old salvaged pride by performing excellently in the following two races.
On December 29, Neil King’s trainee seized first position by four and a half lengths in the Crabbie's Spiffing Alcoholic Ginger Beer Standard Open National Hunt Flat Race at Doncaster. He perpetuated his good run to do a fine job in his most recent race.
Doncaster’s 32RedPoker.com Standard Open National Hunt Flat Race saw him falling second by a neck distance on February 22.
Kaysersberg and Gold Ingot have to be respected, but our vote goes to Call Me April. The filly impressed everyone with her promising debut a few weeks back.
No matter who enjoys success, it is going to be an entertaining contest. Bettor.com wishes best of luck to all participants.
