Gold driver?

Im 14 and a fresh. Im on varsity golf team and we have matcxh 2morrow but i cant hit driver straight. Im alligning the ball on the big toe of my left foot and putting hands forward a little. then i swing and it is a low draw. How can i add height and keep draw/ or straight. ASAP

  1. Tee the ball up a little higher and move the ball back around an inch so a little inside of your big toe on your left foot.  That should get you some additional height and straighten up your drive.  If that does not work, then you probably have too strong of a grip and you need to rotate your left hand to be a little more under your club instead of over it.


  2. Tee the ball a little higher and live with it tomorrow. If you make too many changes at once you will likely get the yips and not be able to hit at all.

  3. I agree with Noah.  Don't try to change things up too much tomorrow.  The middle of a match or a tournament isn't the time to start monkeying around with your swing or set up.  Allow for the draw until you can get to the range and then try different options to straighten out your drives.
