Gold fish with scales falling out?

I have a small black moore. I noticed about a week ago that he had what looked like a possible fungal infection around his dorsal fin. It actually looked like an extra little patch of slime with bubbles in it... I only had methylene blue on hand, so I popped a few drops in the water. the little bubbly slime patch disappeared. My fish looked fine. Then about 4-5 days later all his scales from his dorsal fin, half way down his sides and down to his tail fell out.... so now he basically has a pink skin saddle... I took him to a fish store and they took a scraping , but they didn't come up with any bacteria or fungus in the scraping. none of my other fish seem to be affected. since i have moved him to a quite tank of his own.. he is being treated with a broad spectrum antibiotic and meth blue,, just in case it's a fungus

  1. He probably has a fungus called dropsy that is common in goldfish, they sell special medication for it. If that's not it than it's fin rot, they have medicine  for that too.
