Gold or Silver for Brown Eyes?

I have brown eyes, brown hair and a pale skin with yellow tones. Would a gold or silver eyeshadow look best for me?

brown eyes can pull off any eye shadow except for the same color brown as your own eye color

definitly gold, it gives you a certain glow.  

silver shadow and beige lipstick would give you a slight frostbitten look.

Have you ever considered trying both? sweep the inside corners of your eyes and just under your brow line  with a shimmery white- silver shade. This opens up the eyes and makes them look bigger. then, use a shimmery champaign-gold shade for the rest of your lid. For this look I would go with a less-obvious gold or silver... something a little paler. Hope you like it!
