West Ham United’s chairman, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/David-c10409 Gold has gone on to hope that Andy Carroll will end up staying at the club for the whole season.
The http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749 international went on to join West Ham from Liverpool, as the two teams went on to agree a loan deal for the player’s move.
However, the terms and the duration of the loan spell have remained confidential, which means that the Reds can potentially recall the striker back to Anfield, should they want to.
The team will still have to wait until January to do so, since they will have to wait for the transfer window to open up again.
Carroll’s move to West Ham got off to a flying start, as the striker went on to put in a brilliant performance against Fulham.
His influence up front helped the team score two of their three goals, as they beat Fulham by three goals to nil.
As a result, it is easy to see just why the team want to keep Carroll around, since his presence could determine whether West Ham stay afloat at the end of the season or not.
"The exact terms of AC [Andy Carroll's] year-long loan deal is subject to a confidentially agreement but we are hopeful he will be with us the whole season," Gold wrote on Twitter.
Prior to his move to West Ham, Carroll was being linked with a return to Newcastle United. The striker went on to draw Liverpool’s attention following his brilliant performances for the Magpies in the first place.
However, Newcastle weren’t interested in bringing back the striker on the dead line day of the season, since they were more than happy with the strike force that they have at the club.
The towering forward never really had the impact at http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809 that everyone hoped he would have, which is why he has a chance at redemption at West Ham.
Should his performances prove to help the team out quite a bit, they might just end up trying to keep hold of the forward on a permanent contract.
Nonetheless, it is now a wait to see what the future holds for the striker and to see what club he will be playing for next season.
