  1. Don't use the block feeders. They don't work and they just foul up your tank. I assume you're going away for 10 days? Use an automatic feeder instead, they actually work.

Fish can survive without food for up to a week. Is there someone you know that can feed them for you? Place each day's food in plastic bags so they know how much to feed them instead of overfeeding them.

    E-mail me for any questions!

  2. I had no idea YA had a fish category. O.O

    This place has everything.

  3. DON'T use the block.. They will keep eating more and more and then they will die. Trust me, the blocks don't work.

You should use an automatic feeder instead of the block. They are a lot better and prevent your fish from being overfed.

If not, then the only options you have are to either 1) Leave the fish with no food for 10 days..(I know it sounds bad but seriously, fish can survive that long without food) and 2) Have a friend feed them. If you think they will overfeed them then put each day's food in bags for the friend so they will know how much to give each day.

    Hope I helped!

  4. i wont count on it!! my friend used that, when he came back his fishes were dead!!! and then his daughter cried =(

  5. It will dissolve slowly...  He sucks the rock up right.....  He will be fine!!!  Enjoy your vacation....and have a friend check him.  But I think he will be fine...Have a GREAT VACATION...see you when you get back!

  6. They don't work. I have tried them... MY friend has too. It works for snails, but not fish!! Hope I helped!!!

  7. You goldfish will be better off if you don't put that block in there and just let them go 10 days without food.  Trust me.  I have over 2,000 gallons of aquariums and a wide variety of fish.  I hope you changed the water yesturday, made sure all of the filters are working properly today and your goldfish will be fine.
