it depends on what you are looking for in a set of golf clubs. if you are a serious golfer and plan on golfing a lot at a high level, then they are not a good set for you.  if you are just starting, then they aren't too bad.  the smart thing is to wait until the sporting goods stores have their sales (like father's day) and get a set of nice clubs for a good price.  Also, you could buy that set and replace a few of the clubs with nicer ones, your driver, wedges, putter. hope this helps.
