Golden Jubilee likely to prevail in Premier Food Courts Ltd Handicap
Golden Jubilee has been rated favourite for the Premier Food Courts Ltd Handicap at Chepstow in England on Monday, June 4, 2012. A cash prize of £2,264 will be awarded to the winner of the class-5 event.
The stamina of all participants will be put to a test, as the overall distance to cover will be 1 mile and 14 yards. The action is scheduled to start at 15:15 GMT and a total of 12 runners have been attracted towards the race. Their names are as follows:
Golden Jubilee, Emperor Vespasian, Derfenna Art, Wyndham Wave, Tiger Cub, Uncle Roger, Marhoona, Lady Percy, Netley Marsh, Sir Dylan, Poetry Writer and Bajan Hero.
Out of the above mentioned runners, the best chances of victory are with Golden Jubilee, as he is carrying an excellent momentum right now. His stamina is very good, which will help him attract a lot of bets in his favour.
The three-year-old colt has participated in four races until now, winning once. Other than that, his performances have been a touch inconsistent, which is not a good sign at all.
However, the Richard Hannon’s trainee managed to bring up his maiden victory in his most recent outing, which would have given him a lot of confidence. It will be important to see whether he manages to repeat such a performance again.
Golden Jubilee will be partnered by seasoned jockey, Pat Dobbs, who has won quite a few races at this level. However, his strike rate is on the lower side, which will discourage the punters from risking money on him.
On the other hand, Wyndham Wave will also be one of the contenders for victory at Chepstow, as he is in decent form. He does not have a lot of experience, but has the skills to fight at the front.
The three-year-old gelding has participated in five races until now, winning one of them. He was unable to make a solid impression in his most recent outing, as he finished fifth in it. However, there is still a solid chance for the Rod Millman’s trainee,
who will be ridden by James Doyle in the race.
Other than the top two favourites, Emperor Vespasian and Derfenna Art might also manage to make an impression in the race.
