Golden Sun Data Transfer Help?

I'm really, really angry because I want to fully complete the second Golden Sun (Lost Age)

and I finally have all the Djinn from the original. The only problem is, I don't know how to transfer the file data from the original to the newer one so I can get ALL the Djinn. So yeah, I have a link cable, a Gameboy Advance, a Gameboy SP and both copies of the game. What do I do.

Send option:

After finishing the game once, at the title screen, hold the R button and Left on the D-pad, then press B. A new option will appear on the right called 'Send''. This allows you to transfer your clear data to a Golden Sun: The Lost Age cartridge by either a password, or by using a GBA link cable.
