Goldfish constantly pooping?

im wondering whats wrong with my goldfish because shes been pooping for the last 3 days, the p**p is coming out but there continues to be a black string of p**p in the butt thats trying to come out. i didnt feed her yesterday, and i also have a crayfish and a rosy red with her, and i feed her flakes

That's ok for your Goldfish to be doing that the past three days. Goldfish produce a lot of waste and that's why you should clean the tank once a week or every week and a half. Nothing to worry about, just clean it at the proper time. =]

oh my gosh! my goldfish has been doing the same thing!

i took her to this special fish doctor aquarium near my house and he has diagnosed her with constipation. i guess it happens some time in every fish's life. he suggests to feed them some peas. it sounds weird but they act like a mild laxative.
