Goldfish food that is good for swim bladder problem?

I have a fantial goldfish with a slight swim bladder problem.

High quality pellets (even if soaked), seem to always cause a problem. Actually, he does a bit better with soaked flakes. I have heard that the inside of a pea does well, and when I fed him the pea, he was fine.

But, how much of his diet can be peas (or similar type food?).

I also have frozen brine shrimp (for my saltwater), but can he eat them, and will that be good for his swim bladder.

Thus, I am trying to come up with a diet that is a mixture of peas, some soaked flakes, and another type of food, but I do not know the proper ratios. Thanks.

Goldfish do quite well on a diet high in vegetable matter and peas are fairly nutritious.  I have heard of some people feeding their fish on only peas and saying that their fish do fine.  I would not recommend this, but you should be able to feed your fish pea innards every other day without a bit of harm, particularly if the fish is prone to constipation.

Goldfish are vegetarians most of the time, but are opportunistic eaters like all fish. Brine shrimp is not good for swim bladder problems in goldfish, a treat once in awhile is okay, but you can try feeding him grocery foods.

boiled and peeled mashed pea, zucchini without the peel, should eat the inside also another good thing to find is algae, I get mine from the grocery store, it comes in dry flakes, crumble it, soak a bit and feed like a flake food, make sure it sinks so he doesn't swallow air though.

Also, try feeding more often in smaller quantities.

use a cooked pea peel it. mash it then feed it your fish this is to cure the disease. use goldfish flakes and some veges. dont overfeed them or theyll get that disease. use a pinch of food every day not a big pinch just a tiny pinch.
