  1. if you want a tank mate fancy goldfish buy another fancy goldfish oranda, black moore, pearlscale, bubble eye, clestial, ranchu, lionhead, ryukin, fantail.

if you got a common goldfish you can buy comets, shubunkins, koi, wakin, jikin.

    kOi keeper & goldfish keeper

  2. coldwater danios

    and

    white cloud mountain minnows

will survive for a while until either

they die of the ammonia produced from the goldfish

    or

    the goldfish eats them

    only get cold water fish

  3. as long as the new fish is a lot bigger than then the gold fishes mouth and is a freash water fish you should be fine (no batas)

  4. don't make it to small or the goldfish will eat it! it should be at lest 1 1/2 cm

  5. Goldfish put off a lot of ammonia and generally can not be housed with other fish as the fact that they are dirtier makes them a risk to the other fish. D=

You'd be better off putting various type of goldfish in with the said goldfish though. They have plenty of those goofy looking ones or those large, gorgeous looking ones. :D All depends.

  6. This is not criticism, but I highly suggest you do not put a different type of fish in your tank with the goldfish. Golfish are pretty dirty fish as it is and they are also coldwater fish, demanding too much for most other fish. Why not get another goldfish? They will go great together and you can also get a different type of goldfish than the one you have now. I guarantee that if you buy a different type of small fish, it will either be eaten or die quickly. Goldfish also produce plenty of ammonia- they are pros at it lol. These severe ammonia levels are very risky for other fish.

I would be happy to have you email me if you have any other questions reguarding this.

    Good luck!
