Just 1 month ago my tank was 7.6 ph and one day i realized my tap water had ammonia in it, so i switched to reverse osmosis water and now my ph is 6.2. I tried switching back to my tap water after every water change but my ph is still the same. My tap water ph is 8.0. What can i do 6.2 ph is dangerous.

  1. Goldfish can survive a variety of pH...6.2 is perfectly fine...where did you hear that it's dangerous?

If you're so paranoid, do water changed every other day with your tap water (and use a water conditioner to get rid of the ammonia) to raise the pH.

    E-mail me for any questions!

  2. go buy a product from the store that helps your PH and buy the product for tap water to hel clean it and get ride of the ammonia
