Goldream all set for the second seasonal success through the Parry & Co Solicitors Annual Handicap
The three-year-old brown gelding, Goldream, takes the spotlight of the Class 4 Parry & Co Solicitors Annual Handicap at Haydock over six furlongs on Friday, 20th July. For the £4,205 prize money, six more three-year-old runners will take up the
challenge.
Oasis Dream’s gelding has been active four times during the new season and the worst that he had to go through was the seventh position in his seasonal debut. The remaining three outings found the brown gelding finishing each as placed, third, first and
then second.
Goldream ended third in the Smooth Radio Handicap on 4th June, 2012 at Leicester over six furlongs. The soft ground had Khubala winning the race by the margin of just a length. Our Boy Jack settled as the favourite runner-up.
Accompanied by jockey, Kirsty Milczarek, the three-year-old did not break into a high gear early on but progressed drastically with the last furlongs that led to the wire. However, he did not get to lead for long as his luxury was invaded by the leading
pair.
The Clizia foaled then won the Royal Ascot Live On At The Races Maiden Stakes on 18th June, 2012 at Wolverhampton over six furlongs. Under the guidance of the jockey, Kieren Fallon, evening’s favourite eluded prominence as soon as he broke from
the eighth stall.
Four furlongs down, the Luca Cumani trained followed the leaders and with another furlong down, he was tugged by the jockey, all receptive Goldream took the left and landed the race with the margin of three lengths.
Finishing the closest was, Pearl Notion while Charming, filled in the third slot.
For a second time it was Khubala who made the Tsega Horses owned compromise on success. The three-year-old ended as the runner-up of the Sandra Gilks Handicap on 30th June, 2012 at Doncaster over 5 ½ furlongs.
The favourite entry of the race was forced to stay adrift by just half a length with jockey, Kieren Fallon onboard.
The 2 to 1 shot for the race will be paired up with rider, J-P Guillambert, and the two will race off from the seventh gate.
