Golf Bag Strap and Bag Stand?

Question

I just bought my girlfriend her first set of clubs, but the one she chose didn't come with a stand bag, just a regular bag. She really wants a stand (the bag won't stand on it's own), can I buy just the stand somewhere and attach it to the bag? She doesn't want wheels because we ride in the cart., but still wants the stand for when we go to the driving range. Has anyone ever done this before?

Also, I bought a new bag too, but it came with one of those "backpack style" shoulder straps. I thought it would be fine but I really don't like it, can I buy just a regular shoulder strap alone somewhere?

I've looked in some Pro Shops and on eBay but can't find anything. let me know if you have any suggestions.

yes there is a bolt on stand very light useage perfect for the range all golf sotores carry this .. as far as your bag the staps can be adjusted for a looser or tighter fit , many manypeople would trade a cart bag for yours . i even have a brand new cart bag never used . i think i could live in it . problem with these at my age would have to draw map and directions on what compartment things are in . normal i am to old to renber were things would be . i pocket would hold a small kitchen help pay looses .

Yes, I have seen just the stand, one my friends bought one several years ago. Check at specialty stores like Golfsmith, or Golfdom, they have them I think. They should also have different straps, both relatively cheap.

Wait a minute - she just got her first set of clubs but she is riding in a cart to play golf?  How far does she get to ride between shots?  Golf is about walking - at least let her start that way.  When she gets old and can't walk the course then put her in a cart.  Separate stands are available as are replacement straps.  But if you are riding in the cart with her what difference does it make what kind of strap is on your bag?  Too awkward going from the parking lot to where the carts are parked??

Yes they sell those.. go to any golf pro shop.. there are many to choose from.
