Hi, today my ball came to rest against a rake along a slope OUTSIDE of the bunker. When I pick the rake up, the ball moves down the slope about 3 feet. What is the ruling here?

  1. Definitive answer: The ball should be replaced twice on the spot it lay on against the rake - if it will not come to rest it should be placed at the nearest spot not nearer hole or in a hazard where it will rest which can sometimes be several feet away.

  2. If ball comes to rest on a rake 1 foot on a slope down to the bunker and there is no way that the ball can be placed on the slope without it slipping down into the bunker what is the ruling?
