Is there a ball out there that will cut-down on a minor slice off the Tee? Also one that will have more spin on the green?? I know i will get alot of responces saying "its not the ball its the swing" well thats wrong because i only slice with my driver, and the club pro at the Medina said i have the right club, and he dosnt know why i slice my drives, he says if i didnt do that i would shoot probably like a 76.....thanks

  1. there has to be something wrong with your swing.  with that said try a distance ball, they are usually less susceptible to spin, but this cuts down on feel around the green.  there is an idea out there that rubbing chapstick  on your club head and ball will cut down on your slice.  this is illegal, but only if you get caught

  2. i certainly don't know of any balls like that, and cant imagine how it would be possible to design one....if one does exist though, whoever made it will be filthy rich

  3. No such animal. The mechanic is at fault, not the tools.Yea sure !! A 76 is in your wildest dreams. If a pro can't figure out the reason for your slice, he has to go back to " pro" school. And you had better find an instructor who knows the golf swing.

  4. The ball with the lowest spin rate will slice the least. Go to the usga.org website and download the complete list of conforming golf balls. Spin rate is one of the categories listed.

  5. Check these tees out, they aren't exactly Tour-legal, but they might get you down the middle of the fairway: http://www.rockbottomgolf.com/19gldeglsl...

  6. You need to see a different pro.  The reason that you slice your driver is because you put left to right spin on the ball most likely caused by the clubface being slightly open at impact.  There are balls that have low spin rates, but that will have the opposite effect you want in terms of stopping on the green.  If your shots with all your other clubs are pretty straight, consider changing the shaft in your driver, it is just not allowing you to square the face at impact.

  7. Exploding Golf balls never slice !

    Try this trick.

Dunk your ball in water when at the driving range. Are you hitting from the center of the club head? (look for the wet patch)

If you are a bit off, shuffle your feet closer 1 inch and see if that helps kill the slice.

  8. No it is definitely your swing. You naturally swing harder with a driver so you get your body too far ahead of your hands and they don't release. It is absolutely the swing and not ball, so just slow down your swing and relax.

  9. the answer to your question is polara golf balls. you can find them mostly on ebay and such. they will greatly reduce your slice. this is the only anti slice golf ball. and the only thing that will help your slice other then gettting lessons
