Golf Betting Preview: top 5 golfers of the KLM Open (part 2)
This is the second half of the betting preview of the KLM open that is taking place on the course of Hilversumsche Golf Club in this week. Continuing with the list of top golfers of KLM, following are the top players to look forward to in the outrageous event.
Damien McGrane
The Irish is the third player on the list of top 5.The following reasoning brings him to this spot. Damien finished in the ninth place in 2005 when KLM Open came to Hilversumsche Golf Club. Moreover, if his previous record of the tournament is bought forward, a very strong background is seen; Damien finished in the third place in 2006, he got tied for 20th in 2008 and finished with a 64 to take the fourth spot in 2009. These stats portray the form of the future-topper, since finishing in top 10s in all four starts is not an easy task.
Another feature that can work wonders for the player is his putting skills, which have improved this year. Right from the time of Portuguese Open where he finished 5th in putting, Damien has come all  the way to the 21st in overall putting and 20th in putts per greens hit.
Darren Clarke
Another European can take over the leader board in the upcoming KLM Open.
Darren Clarke is the vice captain of the Ryder cup team, and he is the former winner of the tournament in 2008. Moreover, he finished in the fifth spot last year  after losing the playoff, and the way he drove his ball onto the greens, he was dubbed as a “mad man.”
Looking at his stats, he landed in top five in 1998 followed by a victory a year later, which means that there are chances that Darren Clark posts a top 5 finish this year as well. As for this season’s performance, Darren   had three top-15 finishes in his last three events, including the runners-up finish to Edoardo Molinari in Scotland. Furthermore, he has acclaimed that in the coming week, he will be demonstrating a threatening dip below the number 29 in the putts-per-round stats. Fingers crossed.
 Nicolas Colsaerts
Last on the list is Nicolas Colsaerts who posted a victory in Holland on the challenge tour last year and this time he is coming back to cherish the grounds on which he posted his first victory. This player has four T-25 finishes in four of the early starts. Although he had an amazing career, as an amateur his game took a dip after 2009 victory but hopefully if he plays with the same spirit and driving accuracy, the time is not away when the spectators will see his name in the top 5 of the KLM Open leader-board.
These are the top golfers that are expected to shine at KLM according to the polls held by the media and expert’s opinion. It is expected that they will be seen at the top of the leader-board of KLM Open, which is taking place this week at the course if Hilversumsche Golf Club. After a gap of five years, a tournament has come back to this course and speculations are that some tough challenge is waiting for the players. However, who actually will outshine here, is a question that will be answered in couple of days.
