Question:

Golf Cart Glows Green?

Last night, I was driving our golf cart, and I noticed that when I accelerated, there would be a flash of bright, neon green light comming from under the seat where the batteries are. It did this the whole time I was using the cart. Earlier that day, we put some distilled water into the batteries, which is what we do every few months. It also glows when I start the cart, and when I turn it off. The glowing green light has never been a problem before, so what do you think it is? Is it something that can be fixed, if so, how can I fix it? Please let me know what you think! Thank you.

  1. Check the wires. It sounds like you have a short somewhere.

  2. something electrical is arcing..... welding is taking place beneath your seat. You should look for a loose connection, find a dark spot, block up the back wheels, raise the seat, and push the accelerator. then tighten or replace whatever is causing the arc.
