  1. Go for the graphite, they're much nicer. As an intermediate player, I would go after clubs of somewhat smaller brands. Look at Cobra, Adams, Titleist, and Cleveland. As far as a bag, anything that you like is fine. I love the uberlight stand bags. Good luck!

  2. Nike golf clubs are really good, I got the old Sling Shot clubs and I've had them for about five years, i play off 1.8 and they work really good. The clubs have steel shafts, best bet is to pick up a cheap carry bag.

    Have a good one...

  3. ask the people at your golf courses  pro shop

  4. Read the reviews on the MacGregor NVG2 and NVG2 mids. These are very good clubs that can be bought right now on clearance for $199 or less for a set of irons.

  5. Z Series Hybrid Complete Set W/deluxe Stand Bag

  6. if you are serious. i would say go to the local golf shop and get fitted for the proper clubs. they can help with shaft stiffness and length and lie,

as far as brands, i have always been a fan of pings they are very forgiving, and also have a great feel when good contact is made.

bag set up, i would recommend a 1,3,5 wood a 19 and 21 degree hybrid and a iron set of 4-sw and of course a putter.  and that is the 14 club max for the usga rules
