  1. I found an article that might be of help:

Good luck with your golf game.

  2. Put it in the fairway. That should work.

  3. Being 14, I think that you are probably in pretty good shape.  You will grow into your swing and the distance will come.  If you have a teacher/coach, have them watch your swing to make sure there aren't any major power leaks, but you are probably in good shape.

Doing something like swinging a weighted club can help some too.  It will work the golf-specific muscles and help them develop.  Starting and sticking to a stretching/flexibility workout routine would help, too.

Finally, getting in front of a launch monitor and testing out different equipment to make sure that your individual numbers are as optimized as they can be.  The only issue with that is that in 6-12 months your body will have grown, and what was optimal at one time may not be optimal anymore.  But, if you are looking to maximize today's results, all three things will help.

  4. do you put it in the fairway??? if not, who cares how far you hit it!!!  it's more important to hit the green in regulation than to bomb you drive (drive for show, putt for dough) work on your short game and all will be well, most of all have fun!!!

    "hit 'em straight"
