Average golfer, small hands.

The club face seems to open up on impact as the grips slip..

Grips are old and need replacing.

Can you suggest a brand or type of grip that may help me with this problem.

Thanks

  1. Get to a club maker and have them measure your hand.(there is a chart) This will help with your grip size. I use to

have standard grips but now I use over sized and i have much more control. As for brand or type, I use rubber and cord combo. Many companies with this type. Again go to a club-maker or a golfsmith store. Always remember this: Golf is a game of feel. If it feels good to you, you will play better. What works for me may not work for you. I hope this helps. good luck!!

  2. The DCI are a .580. If you really want to get nice grips I would buy Winns. They have the new xi7 and DSI coming out and they are awesome

  3. as above

  4. winn makes a very good grip as does golf pride. Depending on the average temperature where you play, the golf pride grips are a good way to go. They are easily cleaned with soap and water and have great durability. The winn grips seem softer, so play in humid conditions is more comfortable, but the grip life will suffer.  Enjoy the game and don't sweat the small stuff.

  5. get golf pride grips. they are strong that feel great and last very long. you can can many different colors and kinds of models. they feel really good and last a long time, they are great

  6. If you don't mind having a manufacturers name on a product not made by that particular manufacturer, try either Nike or Ping grips.  If not, Lamkin and Golf Pride make good grips as well.

  7. If you are not in the mood to do the job yourself, go to your nearest golf store. They have a wide variety of grips and will be able to provide your needs. If you belong to a country club the golf pro will have either do the grips himself ot have one of the staff do them.In either case is sounds as if your clubs need regripping. If you have a local public course near you stop into the pro shop. They can always use the business.

  8. It's difficult to recommend a size if we don't know your hand size.

If your hand is small, I recommend Ladies grip.  Golf Pride Tour Velvet is one famous brand.  Winn is also has a leather kinda feel, but it's slippery on wet hands.
