Is there any way to calculate your handicap to include a standard golf league score - which is usually only nine holes?!

  1. Everything you could possibly want to know is on the USGA website on handicapping.  Take a look at link: http://www.usga.org/playing/handicaps/ha...

You will find that there is a way to enter your 9 hole scores from each golf league play.  It's called combining 9 hole scores.  Each course that has been rated and sloped by the USGA (committee in your area), will have a 9 hole rating and slope for each side/9 holes at each course.  You just enter into GHIN (ghin.com) or deposit the scorecards at your course both 9 hole scorecards and your handicap committee will take care of it---each two 9 hole scores with the appropriate slope and rating.  Then they are combined into an 18 hole score, using the slope and course rating for the two 9 hole courses played, calculating a differential for your handicap.

Clear as mud?  LOL  Check out both sites and you will understand more.

  2. adjust you handicap after every two rounds... or just use the side you play and use the same method as 18 holes...

  3. I just double it, the front and back nine have the same par, plus most people do better on the back, so it's not like you're cheating giving yourself the same score.

  4. depends on how sharp your bat is
