The news was confirmed in a press conference held in Ohio on Friday. As per details, there will be three seminars of 90 participants each. However, the participants will have to register before the closing date on the official website of the company.
The first seminar will stretch up to 60 minutes and will be on ‘How to set up & operate a club repair shop.’ The purpose of the seminar is to spread awareness amongst new entrepreneurs who want to start club repair business. During the session, participants
will learn ways of setting a repair shop, what equipments are required for it and what services can be delivered via it.
On the other hand, the second session will take place an hour later and foster on ‘Measuring & bending of golf club angles.’ It would help in understanding the industry practices for accurately measuring loft and face angles of irons, metal woods, and hybrids
with appropriate bending methods.
The last session will stretch for 90 minutes and cater teaching with club performance & D-Plane technology. The participants will learn what are the 14 club performance numbers and the D-Plane ball flight laws.
All three sessions will take place in the meeting room of Orange County Convention Centre. Bill Kumle, Director of Instruction for Mitchell Golf Equipment Institute, Ed Mitchell, the Chairman MGEI, and PGA Head Professional Pinewood Country Club James Leitz
will conduct these seminars. The trio is known for their extensive contribution in the game.
The registrations have started and will continue until 26 January. No fee will be charged during the process, which is why the registration will be done on first-come-first-serve basis. Seminars and conventions of such type are healthy in understanding the
sports. Not only professionals, but also new entrepreneurs may find them beneficial for future.
