Does anyone know which shaft is better??

Aldila NVS-65 REGULAR Flex shaft

or

Fujikura RE*AX 60

I hit the Fujikura great yesterday, but the clubs with the Aldila are a lot cheaper. Does it make much of a difference?

  1. Mainly it is what you want to spend. I have the Aldila NVS-55 stiff flex shaft in my Nickent 3DX driver and would not trade it for anything. Preference will come after hitting the clubs.

  2. Cant say with any accuracy as shafts are very individual things, designed to suit your swing type and speed.

Take your time to try all options and make an objective decision.

Dont get swayed by a 'sales pitch' go with what suits you!

    Happy swinging

  3. Fujikura's are the elite when it comes to shafts.  Their price tag reflects this.  Although, my dad has a Fujikura Speeder shaft and I have a ProForce V2 (with the same club head) and I hit both equally the same.  As with most things in golf, It's all about personal preference and how much you want to spend.

  4. First of all, when you say "clubs" I hope you don't intend to purchase a full set of graphite shafted irons.  Big mistake, unless you swing like my grandma.  Otherwise, when it's between you, me and Joe Dokes playing a $2 nassau on Sundays, the difference between the shafts (other than flex) won't make a bit of difference in our games.
