Golf Update: A new 2011 for Tiger Woods-he is moving on.
This is for those critics who have been closely following Tiger Woods all year, this is for those golfers that have been sympathising with Woods the entire 2010, this is for those fans who think 2011 will be a better year for Mr. Woods.
Instead of making the News all year round with countless wins, Woods has been making headlines after headlines with his much talked about controversy and disappointing losses. However, enough of the past, it’s over and gone, time to look forward.
With the previous season over, the world of golf is still to hold its fall season. The World Golf Championship is due and Woods has plans to be dyed-in-the-wool. This event will be held in Shanghai in November and Tiger Woods is rumoured to play the event
in full form.
Then there is the Chevron World Challenge which will be played in December. This event will be hosting one of the top players of the field since it will be an 18 player playing field. The first week of December will be hosted by Tiger Woods and will welcome
players of top form where the Tiger will roar a roar of his own.
Some might say the year 2010 has ended since the Ryder Cup finale but Tiger-fans still have their hopes up.
At the Ryder Cup, Tiger Woods played an adequate game with his 3 points. The Europe-USA competition witnessed the thirty four year old earning three matches out of the four he played for the American Team.
Mr. Woods however lost from, which he has been doing in four of his five matches against Steve Stricker. His minor malfunction made the news big-again. With the Ryder Cup ended like this for the thirty four year old, the year 2010 has been marked jinxed.
2010 wasn’t marked ill-fated due to only his worst loss in 15 years but also because of his divorce drama. The drama started due to his extra marital affairs, which led Woods and Elin Nordegren filing a divorce against each other. A lengthy occasion of gossip
and rumours circulated the media and overall the world of golf about the divorce settlement which left Woods facing everything standing alone.
According to reports, Woods brother Earl Woods junior said their late father would have been highly disappointed with his brother’s act.
Time to move forward:
There are two things Tiger Woods will never falter. One is hard work and other is learning from mistakes. Discussing the latter first, with the amount of excruciating lessons given to Woods, he has learnt well. The earlier statement is proved with the fact
that he is moving on and focusing on bringing his game back into the field.
He has been going through some major changes in his swings and that will affect even the biggest golfer in the world. Tiger Woods is a work in progress for ruination of Hank Haneyess and structuring up the Sean Foley approach. He is sure in the game and
has huge plans to continue with his high rakings. Despite the painful 2010, Woods knows how to move on.
Coming to the hard work ethic, Woods ability to continue playing despite the bad humoured era is enough explanation of Mr. Woods’s ability to keep working to the best to handle too much with too little.
There will be three things new in 2011 from the Tiger’s side- His new swing, his refreshed hard work ethic and his commitment for return. No matter how badly Woods had been humbled, Woods will be staying on the green field for a long time and we wish him
good luck.
