Golf Update: Garcia excels at the Victoria golf course at the Australian Masters, while Tiger Woods struggles

The thirty years old Spanish veteran golfer Sergio Garcia is performing brilliantly well in the Australian Masters golf event being held at Victoria gold course of Melbourne. In his recent performance, Garcia recorded his best performance of the year and
probably one of the best performances of his career as well to snatch the fourth position over the point’s chart of the tournament.
The Australian Masters golf event is sailing smooth and golfers from all around the world are trying hard to clinch the lucrative title. The thirty years old golfing ace Spaniard Sergio Garcia displayed the best of his game at the Victoria golf course of
Melbourne and conveyed a very strong message to the other opponents in the event that he is there to win the trophy as well.
Garcia carded a splendid sixty five under par six and he is now just six shots behind the current point’s table leader from Australia Andy Bland. The day was also not very bad for the Australian talented golfer Andy Bland, as he finished the day by recording
a fine sixty seven under par.
On the other hand, the defending champion of the tournament Tiger Woods is still struggling to improve his performance. It is to be notified that currently the thirty four years old American golfing legend Tiger Woods is nine shots behind the leader Bland.
Woods finished the day at seventy two under par.
The American veteran seemed to struggle while putting the ball well and it seems his bad luck phase is still not over.
But the day belonged to Sergio Garcia as he displayed the best of him by carding brilliant six birdies. With such a wonderful performance, Garcia has put his name into the list of the favourites for the tournament’s prize.
After the days play, the Spaniard seemed delighted about his performance and expressed his thoughts pretty happily. Garcia said that it was probably one of the best performances of his career. He played staggeringly well and finished the day at sixty five
under par, which is not bad at all for him.
Sergio displayed brilliant shots and according to the critics, he could have done better than that as well. When he was asked about the matter, the thirty years old said that he had hit the ball really well and he admits the fact that he could have done
much better than just sixty five but he is still satisfied with his performance as he is just six shots behind the point’s table leader.
The current performance has given him ample confidence and inspiration for the further stages of the Australian Masters tournament. It is also to be notified that Garcia has not been able to win a single title since the year 2008 but snatching the fourth
spot on the standings table of the ongoing event has definitely given him a new hope to clinch one more title for him.
On the other hand, the current world number two Tiger Woods failed to settle the brawl in a better way. Woods failed to make birdies and missed some great opportunities of putting the ball.
After the day’s play the American seemed pretty upset about his performance in the tournament. Woods told that the weather conditions were pretty difficult as he was finding it difficult to hit the ball in the right direction. Woods said that the conditions
were difficult even beyond his considerations.
To defend the title, it would take an ample amount of brilliance for Woods, as he is still nine shots behind the Aussie Andy Bland. Woods disappointing efforts are not only devastating for him but also for his fans from all around the world. As a fan of
this American golf star, we can only wish him luck for the further stages of the Australian Masters golf tournament.
